How we started
Based in Portland, Maine, Fifth Cup originated as an independent IT consulting business which included creating websites for clients. As the demand for websites grew, we established relationships with a number of freelancing professionals whose backgrounds and expertise rounded out the team.
Freelancers Gone Wild
As freelancers, working “virtually” from multiple locations, we provide the same level of workmanship and service we would if we rented office space, but without the associated costs. Lower costs for us means lower costs for our clients.
We’ve also established a philosophy of building our client’s websites using tools they themselves can use to maintain and enhance their own websites. By empowering our clients with information and education, we find it significantly reduces the support costs needed to maintain their own websites.
